The iWay Enable API is an integration point that is implemented in JavaScript for composite applications. The objects in the API render HTML and insert gauges and charts that are served by iWay Enable. Mapping of the data within the gauges and charts to the events is accomplished with the iWay Enable Wizard.

You can use the iWay Enable API to incorporate iWay Enable gauges and charts into your composite applications. The iWay Enable API is not required if you are using reporting widgets that are not included with iWay Enable and that need a uniquely formatted feed.

Remember, iWay Enable defaults to formatting all feeds that will be consumed by its own gauges and charts. You can override the feed format so that the reporting widgets that you use can consume it.
