Overview

In this iWay Enable application, a File channel is used to listen for batched sales transactions from an input directory. Each batched sales transaction is then passed to a process flow, which splits these batched transactions into individual transactions. The process flow then creates a file for each resulting transaction and puts it into an output directory.

While each transaction is processed, the process flow will also tap the incoming data. The taps will be configured in the iWay Service Manager Administration Console to capture sales information. In this example, the iWay Enable application will be monitoring sales by region (EU or US) and by product. There are three products that are being sold. As the transactions are processed, the transaction data is exposed as business events. These events are associated with feeds to render the real-time data within graphical charts.
