This appendix contains Master Files, FOCPSBs, PSBs, and DBDs for sample IMS databases cited in previous chapters. The databases documented in this appendix are:

• DI21PART. Sample HDAM database included by IBM with IMS.
• PATDB01. Sample HIDAM database (not shipped to user sites). Demonstrates secondary indexes.
• EMPDB01. Sample HIDAM database (not shipped to user sites). Demonstrates partitioning/concatenation of PSBs.
• AIHDAM. Sample HDAM database (not shipped to user sites). Demonstrates a secondary index on the root key.

Note: FOCPSBs created in prior releases may consist of fixed format records with no attribute keywords. While this earlier format is supported, the recommended format is the comma-delimited format used in the samples in this appendix. See Release Dependent Adapter Features for a description of fixed format FOCPSBs.
