The integrity of your IDMS data source is not jeopardized because FOCUS read-only features are supported.
The adapter also supports FOCUS DBA security features. For example, you can use the ENCRYPT command on both Master and Access Files to prevent end users from examining sensitive data.
You can use FOCUS to enforce security at the following levels:
