SET DISPLAYROUND to Adjust for Precision Rounding Anomalies

Category: SET

Case Number: 190813048

Explanation:

The DISPLAYROUND parameter controls rounding of floating point and double-precision numbers for display. The default value, ON, adds a very small number (unit of least precision, or ULP) before displaying the number. This corrects the display of those numbers that round down instead of up because of conversion from binary to decimal. Previous behavior can be restored, if required, with the command SET DISPLAYROUND=OFF.

This parameter has been added in FOCUS 7709 Gen 1554.
