You must allocate the Datacom Data Adapter load library prior to its first access by FOCUS. You can do this in either of the following ways:
Concatenate prefix.DATACOM.LOAD to the prefix.FOCLIB.LOAD library in the TSO logon procedure or, in batch jobs, to ddname STEPLIB.
Concatenate prefix.DATACOM.LOAD in front of prefix.FUSELIB.LOAD in the allocation for ddname USERLIB in the JCL or CLIST used to run FOCUS. Also, allocate prefix.FOCLIB.LOAD to ddname FOCLIB in the FOCUS JCL or CLIST.
It is important to note that in TSO, the data adapter load module will be searched for in USERLIB first, followed by FOCLIB, then STEPLIB. For batch jobs, allocate all load libraries to ddname STEPLIB.
