Each FOCUS release cartridge has a program update level associated with it.

Following the creation of major new releases, other releases are generated periodically and are available to all users. In general, these other releases correct a number of significant problems. The current release may be seen by issuing a ? RELEASE command within FOCUS. To review the record of prior releases, issue EX READMEF and select the Release Statistics option on the menu that appears.

All release cartridges are complete FOCUS distribution cartridges with corrective service pre-applied and tested.
