Once you have installed App Studio, you can launch the product and begin developing applications.
You can launch App Studio in one of the following ways:
When App Studio starts, the Reporting Server installed with App Studio is started with Security OFF.
Note: Additional configuration steps are required if you choose to start the Reporting Server with Security ON. For more information, see the WebFOCUS App Studio Installation and Configuration Guide.
When App Studio first opens, you might be prompted to log on to your localhost environment. You can enter the ID, wfdesktop, with no password, so you can follow the Navigating the App Studio Interface chapter of this manual. To obtain the full development privileges, see WebFOCUS Environments in App Studio.
Note: If you have previously configured WebFOCUS environments on your machine, those environments appear when you launch App Studio.
For more information about the App Studio interface, see Navigating the App Studio Interface.
